Alien Contact was a livestream event I ran in partnership with Home Music Productions. At the time, EDM livestreams were very common as COVID protocols had now banned in-person events for over a year. So I had to find a way to make this one different.

What I decided to do was add a storyline component. The whole livestream would be ran as a satirical news segment. My teammate Nate and I began our acting careers as lead news anchors, Cyrus Eaton and Mark Collywobbles. Cyrus and Mark are going about a mundane news report when all of a sudden, aliens from outer space land on Earth. And not only that, but they are sending out a video feed from their ship. Cyrus and Mark sequentially take viewers from the news studio to the alien video feed, where our performing artists would then play out their otherworldly dance music.

The show sadly ends with Cyrus and Mark getting blown to bits in the G.A.S. studio - but they did not die in vain, as this production generated 300 unique viewers on Twitch and cemented Goosethumps as a music promoter who goes beyond the ends of Earth for their fans.
